Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey helps young children faced with adversity achieve success and overcome obstacles that are out of their control. By pairing children with mentors and allowing them to build one-on-one relationships offering emotional support, guidance, and a hopeful perspective, they seek to turn troubled youth towards better choices in life.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby
Citizen’s Climate Lobby focuses on implementing national policies geared toward stopping and/or reversing the effects of climate change. This nonpartisan, non-profit organization is a grassroots movement that believes the need for a healthy environment should connect us all, no matter partisan divides.
Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity
Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity provides stable, secure, and affordable homes to families from lower-moderate income brackets. The organization uses a non-discriminatory selection process, and the homes provided are sponsored through community donations of time, funding, and skill.
nourish.NJ
nourish.NJ offers meals, shelter, health and social services, and employment and education assistance programs to those facing adversity such as homelessness, hunger, or a general lack of resources. The organization offers their services to those in need every day of the year, without question and free of charge.
